Privacy Policy — Media Studio

What we collect

• Your Google account name, email and profile picture, to sign you in.
• Your projects (timeline, captions, text, settings), stored in our database and visible only to you.

Google Drive

Media Studio uses the drive.file permission: it can only see and manage files that the app itself creates in your Google Drive (a "media-studio" folder holding your project videos, audio and images). It cannot read any other file in your Drive. Files no longer used by any of your projects are deleted 30 days later.

AI transcription

When you ask for captions, only the audio of your video is sent to Google Gemini to transcribe it. Transcripts are cached so the same audio is not processed twice.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with anyone. Google user data is used only to provide the app's features.

Deleting your data

Delete projects in the app at any time. To remove everything, revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions and contact us to delete your account data.
